Creating a QR Code for a PDF: Encode the URL, Not the File
A QR code normally contains the URL to the PDF, not the entire file. The PDF has to stay reachable at that address; QRWerk doesn't upload or host PDF files.
Encoding the PDF Address
Host the PDF on a web space you control and copy the full HTTPS address into the URL generator. The QR code will then contain exactly that link.
Access and Permissions
Test the address in a private browser window and on a mobile device. Login requirements, network restrictions, expired links, or missing permissions can prevent access.
Static Link or Redirect
With a direct static link, a changed destination must be distributed as a new QR code. Your own redirect address can allow changes, but brings operational responsibility for that address with it.
What QRWerk Doesn't Do
In this version, QRWerk offers no PDF upload, no file storage, no deletion, and no hosting. Only the URL function is deliberately used instead.
