WhatsApp QR code generator
A WhatsApp QR code opens a chat link with a phone number and an optional prepared message. QRWerk requires a country code and builds the URL locally.

What does this QR code contain?
In a wa.me link the number appears without a plus sign, spaces or a leading zero. The message is percent-encoded as a URL parameter.
https://wa.me/491701234567?text=Hello%2C%20I%20have%20a%20question.How to create it
- 1Enter the country code without a plus sign, for example 49 for Germany.
- 2Enter the number without a leading zero and without punctuation.
- 3The message is prepared but never sent automatically.
Compatibility and limits
- The target is a wa.me link; WhatsApp or a matching redirect must be available on the device.
- A QR code does not verify whether the number is actually registered with WhatsApp.
Common mistakes
- A duplicated country code or a remaining leading zero produces the wrong target number.
- Special characters in the message must be URL-encoded.
