QRWerk is built so that as little data as possible is created. This page describes what technically happens.
Processing in the browser
All generator inputs — including addresses, Wi-Fi passwords, contact details, event data and uploaded logos — are processed exclusively in your browser. The QR code is computed locally. This content is not transmitted to our server and is not stored there.
Storage
Your entries are only kept in the memory of the open page. Reloading or closing the page clears them. No form data is stored persistently in your browser.
Accounts and registration
No sign-in is required. No user accounts are created.
Analytics and advertising
No advertising scripts are embedded and no user profiles are built. Aggregated website usage statistics may be collected to understand how the pages are used.
External resources
The interface uses locally available system fonts and loads no web font services. When you access the website, the hosting provider may still process technical connection data.
Server log files
Accessing the pages can create technically necessary access logs at the hosting provider, for example time, requested address and IP address. This data serves secure operation.
