Create a QR code with a logo

With QRWerk you can design a static QR code with a logo. The logo is only used for the local rendering; the encoded URL stays untouched.

Full address including https://

Used for the file name only; it is not stored in the QR code.

Design

A logo that is too large covers data and hurts readability. The size is therefore capped at 25% and error correction is set to level H.

Enter your details on the left to see the QR code.

Some details are still missing for the QR code.

As soon as all required fields are filled in correctly, the QR code appears automatically.

Scan quality

Adjust settings

  • Input complete: Please complete all required fields correctly.
  • Sufficient contrast: The contrast is 16.3:1.
  • Safe logo size: No logo has been added.
  • Sufficient quiet zone: The quiet zone matches the recommended four modules.
  • Recommended error correction: Current level: M. For print, at least level M is recommended.

These checks are an estimate. Test the QR code on several devices before printing.

Download

File names: qrwerk-link.png and qrwerk-link.svg. SVG suits print shops, PNG suits the web and office documents.

What does this QR code contain?

The logo is not part of the payload. The QR code still contains only the URL you entered; the image file is processed locally for the preview.

https://example.com/offer

How to create it

  1. 1Enter a valid URL first and generate the QR code.
  2. 2Place a high-contrast logo in the centre and only increase its size as far as the quality check allows.
  3. 3Before printing, test the PNG or SVG file with an independent device.

Compatibility and limits

  • SVG suits sharp print output, PNG suits digital embedding.
  • A logo covers modules, so real-world scannability depends on size, contrast, quiet zone and data volume.

Common mistakes

  • A logo that is too large or too low in contrast can cover modules that are needed.
  • The export should not be placed right next to text or without its light quiet zone.
