How to Create a QR Code With a Logo the Right Way

A logo shouldn't cover too many important QR modules. What matters is high contrast, a clear quiet zone, suitable error correction, and testing the final export.

Choose Suitable Error Correction

Higher error correction can help with hidden or damaged modules, but it reduces the capacity margin. It's not a free pass for an oversized logo.

Contrast and Quiet Zone

The pattern needs a clear brightness difference and a clear margin. The logo shouldn't reach into the quiet zone or create an extra outline that makes modules hard to detect.

Test the Export and Print

Check both PNG and SVG after export. Test the actual print, different distances, and the intended surface. QRWerk flags logo and contrast issues but doesn't guarantee scannability.
